Everything you can do with a pure melee build you can also do with a normal build. Melee builds are kinda fun but way less effective and only for people who allready played through it once. Modify at 1 is enough you get enough ecksteins to upgrade all your gear from 1 to 2 without need for that skill.Įxotic is just for fun runs when you take research 3(with implant 4),4 and exotic 1 for the crystal shard. You can melee everything except Reaver spawns/Full robots(not cyborgs) with ease and zero hp loss.Įnergy weapons are completly useless same as psi abilities even the "psi" only goodies are all reachable by shooting or dropping down(while looting them). Agility is just luxory and not worth it too at the beginning. Research beyond 1 is wasted except you really want that crystal shard. One point in heavy for the greande launcher( which you only use 3 times/3 grenades in the whole game) because it makes a few(3) triggered spawns just ez on impossible. ![]() Maybe hacking to get nigh unlimitated ammunition with the AR. You wont need anything else than standard weapons(6)/maintance 3-4 and strength 5-6( 5 if you want to watch your implants power 6 if you're not) at all.
